Security Announcements at RSA 2025
At RSA Conference 2025 in San Francisco, leading cybersecurity vendors unveiled a wave of AI-driven innovations, strategic acquisitions, and platform enhancements aimed at automating and strengthening defenses:
- Google Cloud introduced a suite of AI agents for its Unified Security platform and rolled out curated M-Trends rule packs to power threat intelligence.
- Palo Alto Networks announced its intent to acquire Protect AI, launched the Prisma AIRS AI security platform, and delivered major updates to Prisma SASE and Cortex XSIAM.
- CrowdStrike revealed multiple agentic AI capabilities across its Falcon portfolio, including managed threat hunting, Charlotte AI agentic workflows, and new integrations with Microsoft Edge and Google Cloud.
- Cisco leveraged its networking strength to enhance XDR 2.0, integrate Cyber Vision with Hybrid Mesh Firewall, introduce AI supply-chain risk management, and partner with ServiceNow.
- Abnormal AI debuted two autonomous AI agents:
- AI Phishing Coach, delivering personalized phishing simulations and instant coaching based on real attack patterns.
- AI Data Analyst, converting massive security datasets into interactive intelligence reports that users can query conversationally.
- Netskope enhanced its Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) with:
- Support Safe Training, preventing regulated or sensitive data from leaking into LLM training.
- Automated AI Governance, dynamically enforcing policies on data eligible for AI use.
